An Abuja court has dismissed all charges that were levelled against four #EndSARS protesters.
These persons who have are now free to go about their normal businesses without any hitches from the police are Olutosin Adeniji, Abdusalam Zubarur, Paul Akinwumi, and Devour Chomo. Two others, Yasidu Bashiru and Kabiru Garzali.
They were discharged on grounds of lack of diligent prosecution of the case by the police and at the time of the ruling, these individuals were not in court.
The magistrate who presided over the case is Magistrate Musa Eneye and making his ruling, he said;
“That the defendants, Olutosin Adeniji, Abdusalam Zubarur, Paul Akinwumi, and Devour Chomo, are discharged and the complaint against them dismissed.”
It could be recalled that Nigeria was thrown into chaos as the youth hit the streets to protest against police brutalities.
Prior to their protests, some men of the Nigerian Police Force, especially members of SARS had continually abused innocent civilians with some losing their lives as a result.
